Cook – Chef

Amicare is in pursuit of cooks and chefs who are looking for fulfilling careers in the aged care industry.

The successful candidate will possess the following:

Essential:

• Current National Police Clearance Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
• Current Provide First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
• Certificate III in Hospitality majoring in Commercial Cookery, equivalent or higher
• Understanding of Healthcare Food Standards
• Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (or reliable transport)

Desirable:

• Proven experience in a commercial kitchen, preferably in the healthcare setting

*New graduates are welcome to register. You may use a combination of practicum experience, reports and academic transcripts as evidence of your suitability for the role.
