Kitchenhand – Catering Assistant
Kitchenhands and catering assistants are critical in ensuring meal preparations occur in a safe and timely manner. The kitchenhands and catering assistants perform tasks as directed by the chef and catering managers to deliver gold-standard service.
Essential:
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (or reliable transport)
- Understanding of Healthcare Food Standards
- Good verbal and written skills
Desirable:
- Experience within the healthcare sector (aged care, disability and community)
- Certificate III in Hospitality majoring in commercial cookery, equivalent or higher
- Speak languages other than English
