Kitchenhand – Catering Assistant


Kitchenhands and catering assistants are critical in ensuring meal preparations occur in a safe and timely manner. The kitchenhands and catering assistants perform tasks as directed by the chef and catering managers to deliver gold-standard service.


  • Current National Police Clearance Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
  • Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (or reliable transport)
  • Understanding of Healthcare Food Standards
  • Good verbal and written skills


  • Experience within the healthcare sector (aged care, disability and community)
  • Certificate III in Hospitality majoring in commercial cookery, equivalent or higher
  • Speak languages other than English
