Podiatrist
Podiatrists are experts in foot care and are well-versed in supporting people to care for their lower limbs. Podiatrists are usually involved in managing injuries, and immobility in efforts to reduce fall risks.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Essential:
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Relevant tertiary qualification
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (or reliable transport)
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Occupational Health and Safety legislation, Accreditation Standards and ACFI
- Understanding of holistic, person-centred principles
- Practical clinical experience within the aged care environment
- Good verbal and written skills
- Good computer skills and experience with commonly used software and applications
Desirable:
- Proven experience within the healthcare sector (aged care, disability and community)
- An understanding of aged care accreditation standards
- Speak languages other than English
