Registered Nurse
A registered nurse should be passionate, dynamic and flexible with the ability to think on their feet. They need to have strong leadership and interpersonal skills to be able to supervise clinical staff and relate to clients.
The successful candidate will possess the following:
Essential:
- Current National Police Clearance Certificate (no more than 6 months old)
- Current Provide First Aid Certificate (including CPR)
- Current unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Current Driver’s Licence and reliable vehicle (or reliable transport)
- Understanding of holistic, person-centred principles
- Practical clinical experience within the aged care environment
- An understanding of the Aged Care Accreditation Standards
- ACFI documentation
- Good verbal and written skills
- Good computer skills and experience with commonly used software and applications
Desirable:
- Proven experience within the healthcare sector (aged care, disability and community)
- An understanding of aged care accreditation standards
- Speak languages other than English
